"New Years Eve at Chinatown Brasserie "
Chinatown Brasserie Party in Style at this Year's Top Celebration with Exotic Asian Flair Celebrate New Year's Eve 2010 with exotic flair and sophistication at New York's Chinatown Brasserie! The mystery of the Far East meets Manhattan glamour at New York's fabulous hot spot Chinatown Brasserie. From the moment you pass through the billowing floor to ceiling Chinese silk damask curtains, you are instantly transported into another realm. Located in the heart of the hip and trendy Village enclave known as NoHo, Chinatown Brasserie is the premier destination of choice for "Page Six" regulars and hip Manhattanites seeking signature cocktails, authentic sumptuous Asian fare and a sizzling hot social scene. As the locale for one of MTV's VMA's official parties, the who's who of hip hop, rock and Top 40 stardom have all partied it up at Chinatown Brasserie. Sightings include: - Rihanna
- Paris Hilton
- Pharrell Williams
- Kanye West
- Eva Herzigova
- Lindsay Lohan
- Lucy Liu
The decor inside the impressive 5,000 square foot space is a mosaic of rich textures and colors reflecting elements of American Chinese culture and European brasserie tradition. Distinguished architect William T. Georgis transformed the space formerly the home of Time Cafe and Fez into an impressive multi-level restaurant/lounge dynasty reminiscent of a 1940's Chinese banquet hall accented with ivory columns, lush silk tapestries, ornately decorated silk screens and oversized red lanterns. The Main Room features banquettes modeled after Imperial beds with 10' tall brightly colored silk canopies. Discretely hidden behind the main bar topped with hammered zinc is the Gold Room that one can only enter by passing through framed black bamboo paneled moon gates. For the true VIP experience, follow the lacquered stairway down to the glass lily pad landing on top of a koi pond and voila! East meets Manhattan nightlife in true VIP fashion in Chinatown Brasserie's VIP lounge, Beijing Room. The retro-inspired furniture adds to the funky cool ambiance with exclusive private banquettes, leopard print carpeting and a long private bar with black granite and backlit red glass. For the past two years, New Year's Eve at Chinatown Brasserie has been the talk of the town as a premier party spot! This year will surely top them all! Highlights include an incredible 5 hour premium open bar, delicious mini-buffet of Asian fare from the award winning kitchen of Chinatown Brasserie, champagne toast at midnight, an all-out live NYE countdown to '09, fun and festive party favors and of course, a world renowned DJ spinning sets of hip hop, rock, 80's and dance all night long 'til you say stop! New Year's Eve 2010 at Chinatown Brasserie will be a decadent extravaganza with a fierce party vibe. We've brought the electricity one would feel at a legendary, explosive Full Moon party in Asia to this sizzling hot spot so get ready to ring in your New Year with carefree abandonment -just know you are doing it with supreme style, sophistication and pizzazz at the one and only Chinatown Brasserie. You deserve it!
