Conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan, Sofrito resembles meatpacking-district club: Ambient hip-hop pulses while the 100-foot bar is backlit by blue windows. White colonnades are painted with the aphorisms of Spanish Harlem artist James de la Vega, and casual multigenerational groups mix with sleekly dressed couples. Sofrito is a favorite spot for many celebrities including Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Carlos Beltran, Jorge Posada, Omar Minaya, Fat Joe, Jose Reyes, Jamie Foxx, Lamar Odom, Roselyn Sanchez, Carlos Delgado, Matt Dillon, John Leguizamo, and LL Cool J. This is being deemed as the New Year’s Eve event for the New York Latino "Movers and Shakers.” The celebration features:

Music by X96.3's DJ Creme and La Mega's DJ Smalls playing the best of Latin (Salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton), Hip-Hop, and House Celebrity chef Ricardo Cardona, the man behind the famous Sofrito menu, will be in charge of the passed h'or dourves which will include: - Chilled oysters with horseradish and tomato granite
- Shrimp Ceviche
- Spicy tuna tartar tartar taquitos, served with malanga and avocado wasabi aoli
- Sweet corn arepas served with Venezuelan lobster and avocado salad
- Grilled Yukon gold potato with smoked salmon, black American caviar,topped with crema natta
- Wild mushroom goat cheese quesadilla served with a three dry fruit salsa
- Satays(choice of any 3) - Filet mignon and portabella mushroom, marinated ina tamarind au ju, Spicy shrimp, served with a coconut ginger sauce, andgrilled free ranch chicken breast complimented with a lime peanutdipping sauce
- Chorizo served with herbed chimichurri
- Tostones topped with skirt steak, Bacaloa (codfish) salad, and octopus salad

For general admission, the only gratuity is what you would typically tip your bartender
or cocktail waitress. For bottle service, gratuity is not included in the ticket

If purchasing VIP or table tickets individually, and if the party requires a minimum
number of people, your entire group must purchase their table tickets within 24
hours of the initial purchase. If the other tickets are not purchased within 24
hours, the initial purchase will be canceled and no refunds will be issued.
